Polygum and Polygel for the Food Industry
In the food industry, hydrocollids are used both
for directly influencing the structure of a food stuff (thickening,
gelling, stabilizing) and as technological aids (e.g. In dosing
systems).
The quality and application of such products
are strictly regulated and in most countries have to be declared.
They also have to meet the highest requirements with regard to
microbiological purity.
Our pure glactomannans are known collectively
by the trademark Polygum. They correspond to international specifications
(FAO/WHO, FCC, E) for carob bean gum (E-410), guar gum (E412),
and tara gum (E-417).
The trademark Polygel covers a large number of
compounds, some of them specific to individual customers for particular
applications.
